This hands-on, immersive traineeship is designed for those dedicated to learning the principles and practices that underpin regenerative and sustainable farming.

About the Real Food Garden

The Real Food Garden is an established agroecological food producer with a market garden, veg box scheme, farm shop, livestock and conservation grazing. We grow a full range of vegetables over a long season both outside and undercover. At our heart is a no-dig market garden and we also grow at field scale. We integrate pigs, chickens and sheep in our holistic system as well as an orchard and woodland. Although we are not certified we work organically and focus on biodiversity & soil care in all our activities

Alongside our own 10 acre site we work with local landowners to do conservation grazing with our cattle, sheep and pigs. The organisation is owned and run by partners Amelia Lake and Chloe Bines, who live on site. We are passionate about nurturing people & place, sharing our experience and beautiful farm with others to promote change.
